About Us

The Halfway Caravan & Camping Park is a green energy touring park near the Dorset and Somerset border, in the heart of the West Country. The 2 acre site overlooks a fishing lake and is surrounded by stunning countryside views and historic sites galore.

There are 10 hardstanding bays for caravans and lots of room for tents on the lawn, and on site is the red brick cottage shower and bathroom block. Guests with well behaved children and friendly pets are very welcome, and the park is especially well placed for a stopover to break up the journey to Devon and Cornwall.

Next door is the Halfway House Inn, which offers a warm welcome, great food and a lovely lake to walk around at the back of the property. Just up the road is the Apple Tree Farm Shop and Restaurant.

Nearby lies the old Roman town of Lindinis, known today as Ilchester, and the market town of Yeovil, close by, has 24 hour grocery shopping, cinemas, a theatre, swimming and bowling.
