The Halfway Caravan & Camping Park is an attractive, 2 acre, AA and Caravan & Camping Club listed touring site. Located near the Dorset and Somerset border we overlook a fishing lake and are surrounded by stunning countryside views and historic sites galore. We are right next door to the Halfway House Inn Country Lodge, which offers delicious fresh food, beers, ales and soft drinks. Guests of our park can fish for free at the Inn's fishing lake (upon availability). We have 10 hardstanding bays for caravans, and there's lots of room for tents. Onsite is our red brick cottage shower and bathroom facility. We welcome guests with well behaved children. Guests with friendly pets are also very welcome. Nearby lies the old Roman town of Lindinis, known today as Ilchester. Also a short drive away, the beautiful village of Montacute in which scenes from the feature films 'Sense & Sensibility', 'Elizabeth' & 'The Libertine' were shot. Montacute is also known as the village location for the BBC series 'To The Manor Born'. Close by market town Yeovil, provides 24 hour grocery shopping, cinemas, swimming, bowling and some great nightlife.
